*200 N/ ANGEL UPDATE* Staker will now be paving the exposed shoulders on Tuesday 5/29, milling and prepping the existing asphalt on Wednesday 5/30 and finishing the pavement altogether on Friday 6/1 and Monday 6/4.
ATTENTION – Starting at 5 am on Saturday May 19th, crews will be closing the entire intersection of Angel St and 200 N for the final grading and paving of said intersection. The closure will remain in effect until Monday May 21st at 9 pm (be aware that re-striping will also be happening on the 200 N bridge area on Sunday May 20th). This closure will allow crews to complete the paving, and have the intersection back open for traffic, however the intersection will still be treated as a 4-way stop while the traffic light installation and calibration is being finished. Then on Wednesday May 23rd, crews will be coming back in to pave the first lift of asphalt on the shoulders of 200 N to the east. That following week (the week of May 28th, after memorial day) crews will then come back to do a final paving of 200 N from just east of the Angel/200 N intersection to near Mtn Vistas Rd, where the entire road surface will be repaved. This last bit of work will take several days, but 200 N will remain open while this work is going on. Some work will remain after this, but will mostly be focused outside of the road way.
Again, we understand the impacts and frustration of this project but appreciate all of the cooperation and patience of our residents and businesses. We are excited to see this improvement come to completion, as well as the bridge re-striping.
