Special Bond Election
The Davis County General Election Ballot for the November 3, 2020 election will include a special bond election to read as follows:
“Shall the City Council (the “Council”) of Kaysville City, Utah (the “City”), be authorized to acquire, construct, own and operate a municipal fiber network and to finance the costs thereof with a revenue bond obligation backed by Sales and Franchise Taxes, but for which no property taxes will be pledged (collectively, the “Kaysville Municipal Fiber Project”) in a principal amount not to exceed Twenty-Two Million Dollars ($22,000,000) and mature not more than 30 years from the date of issuance of the bonds?

Public Meeting to be Held
On Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. the City Council will hear presentations of the arguments for and against the proposed special bond election regarding the Kaysville Municipal Fiber Bond and Project. This presentation will occur during the Council's regular meeting and will be held in the Council Chambers at Kaysville City Hall, 23 East Center Street, Kaysville, UT. The meeting will also streamed live on YouTube which can be accessed by going HERE.
No public comment will be taken during the presentation.
