KAYSVILLE CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS HELD ELECTRONICALLY AFTER UTAH EXECUTIVE ORDER IS ISSUED BY GOVERNOR HERBERT


Governor Gary Herbert has issued an executive order that enables local governments in the State of Utah to allow for electronic public meetings. Beginning on March 18th, 2020, in accordance with the Utah Executive Order for Electronic Public Meetings, all City Council meetings may be closed to the public and will be conducted via phone or other electronic means until further notice.

The City is enacting precautionary measures, in accordance with recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control, to slow the community spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) by promoting social distancing practices.

Participate in Public Comment via email prior to the meeting. 

Members of the public wishing to make comments to the City Council in regard to Items on the agenda may do so via email.

  • Email:  PublicComment@kaysvillecity.com
  • Comments must be submitted prior to the 7PM City Council Meeting.
  • In Subject Line add: Public Comment CC Meeting/Date
  • In Subject Line add: Action Item Comment CC Meeting/Date
  • The Agenda Item and First & Last name must be included in the email.

Comments submitted for Action Items will be read prior to a vote on that specific agenda item. Comments submitted for Public Comment will be read prior to the end of the meeting. Questions may be directed to the Kaysville City Recorder at (801) 546-1235.

Meetings will be broadcast on YouTube and live-streamed. The YouTube video of the City Council meeting will be uploaded to the Kaysville City website the following week: https://www.kaysvillecity.com/AgendaCenter and https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtH-iKmjfeXat6K2wOetoZQ.
